Actually, college isn’t an opportunity that only comes around once. Lots of people wait until later in life to go to college.

Are you going to a traditional four year university, a community college, or a technical college? If it’s one of the first two, try taking liberal arts courses your first semester and see which field appeals to you most. If it’s a technical college, that’s really outside my area. You might want to talk to their career services person to see if they have any suggestions based on your personality/interests.

College isn’t an opportunity that only happens once. I waited 6 years after graduating high school. Its up to you when you want to go. Though I am finding General Ed classes a bit more difficult, when you don’t use things for 6 years, they tend to slip away, but usually just a refresher and I’m good to go.

Choose when its right for you to go to school. Maybe you want to start at a 2 year college first. They are a lot less expensive so you can afford to try a lot more things. Take a career placement test. Try out a lower level class in each area that interests you.

College is full of people who want to help you succeed. Your school has tons of counselors, and advisers to help you get the most out of your experience. Use the resources at your fingertips. Most importantly decide to do whats right for you, not what may be right for everyone else.

go to the career center at your school. talk to one of the counselor on campus. take a Career life planning class. think about what you do in life. work on your GE while you figure out what you wanna do. then jump right into the major. Good luck dude. I had the same problem. i was taknig stupid classes and getting bad grades. don’t go there. don’t waste your time. Don’t cut class. hahaha.
