Hm, I don’t understand why you would want to do this. If you get credits at a community college, they’ll most likely transfer over to the 4 year university and you’ll be able to save time and money by skipping community. Why do you want to go in as a freshman?

Your standing at the 4 year university will depend on your credits. If you have about 60 credits, you can go in as a junior. If you don’t transfer any credits, you can go in as a first year student and work up your credits there. Definitely talk to an academic advisor at the 4 year university you want to go to and they can help you out with your plans there.

Good luck!

For a Bachelor’s degree, a full-time student generally goes to school for 4 years. You can either do two years at community college then two years at the university — OR — you can do all four years at the university.

It depends on the number of credit hours that you have when you enroll in a 4 yr program or the number of credit hours that are transferable to the university. To be a junior – you would have to have at least 60 semester hours that are accepted by the university.

this should be available in the university student handbook
