By going for your bachelor’s degree and then med school. In undergrad, major in whatever interests you, but make sure you take the science courses that are prerequisites for medical school. You can contact the med schools you’re interested in or go to their website to find info on their prerequisite courses. You don’t have to major in biology. Do what interests you because that will enhance your chances of getting the best grades possible. Med school is competitive and the higher your grades are, the better your chances of getting in.

Do something outside school that shows that you can take initiative and that you’re curious. And volunteer to show that you have compassion for other people. Do something that will give you experience working with kids.

During the summer after your sophomore year, start preparing to study for your MCATs. Buy some prep books and start studying.

During your residency, you can specialize in pediatrics. Good luck!

In college, first you major in pre med and get top scores in them. By your junior year, you could get an internship in health care and take the MCAT. Medical schools will review your college records. After you graduate from med school and start your residency, you could choose your specialty which, in your case, is pediatrics. Then you’re all set.
