The BEST major for lawyers is philosophy. If you like history or political science major in these two and minor in philosophy. It will help you A LOT on your LSATS. Get the degree, take the LSATS, become a lawyer, and then specialize in real estate law. Good luck!

In my country you need to finish a 4-year bachelor course in any field before you could be admitted to enroll in law studies. Then, after your law studies you need to pass the bar exams so that you could be allowed to practice as an attorney. The exams cover all the topic about the laws of the land and is not only exclusive to real estate.

Later, when you are already a lawyer you could specialize in any field even just by self-study.

I suggest that you either finish business or liberal arts bachelorship preparatory to your entering the law studies.

Then it is enough that you become an attorney. To specialize in real estate is not so much of a burden at afterall.

History and Polisci are probably the 2 most popular undergrad majors for people who eventually wind up in law school, but really law schools don’t care what your major is as long as you did well in it. GPA and LSAT are your most significant stats. That said, if you’re dead set on real estate law (and don’t be too sure about that, many people switch around in law school just like they do in undergrad), take courses in business, economics, finance, or urban planning/land use.
