I’m a radio/tv major right now senior year. You need announcing, audio production, programming, communication law, radio history (boring but necessary), and some type or practice class like a radio station at school or an internship. Not sure if you want to be a dj or go into a different area but a lot of people go into radio without all that. I think the classes give you a clue of what to do, how to do it, why and what’s going on.

you should look into interning for your local radio … o rcheck out your local broadcasting schools. you don;t really need a college degree for radio broadcasting but you do need to know the technical side of the business.
