I need to reschedule my classes?

I already have my schedule, but now I realize I need to move things around for work. We are supposed to go online to do our rescheduling but isn’t there someone I can talk to in person about it? Please help I am a college freshman and I start in one week!

You wouldn’t need to talk to an advisor or a counselor if you just want to change class times…. If you were wanting to change ‘classes” then YES, that’s who you can talk to.

Because you are just hoping to change class TIMES, the best person to talk to is the Registration Administrator. They are the people to talk when it comes to registering for classes, and getting into full classes, which is something you might have to do

Considering you only have a week left until classes start, maybe of the class sections that you want to “transfer” to, might be full. The ONLY person who can get you into a full class is a Register, not an advisor/counselor.

If you want to just do it online, you’ll probably have to DROP all the classes you wish to change, and then sign up for the correct times you want.

Good luck. And next time, plan further ahead.

Try to talk to an academic advisor at your school they may be able to help you out but also they’re probably pretty busy right now so it may be really hard to get an appointment. Also know that you should be able to drop/add classes up to a week after classes start so see what you can work with. You may also want to consider getting a job on campus because they’re very flexible with hours. Good luck 🙂

Go in and talk to a counselor about it. Every school has different ways of handling schedules so it might just be better for you to call someone on campus and ask them.

Well most of the time you are assigned a consuelor/advisor for your first year of college. They usually have websites for colleges so…I’d advise checking there for a conseulor or adivisor you can contact via email or phone with your questions.
