consanguineous (blood relative) marriages increase the risk of birth defects most my family married from within the family, most children of the 2nd and 3rd generation have physical and/or mental defects

first cousins who will marry MAY OR MAY NOT have children with birth defects. if on their marriage the children don’t have birth defects, it will be in the next generation.

<>my cousin’s parents are first cousins too and this cousin has birth defect.

…i will not tell here what kind of birth defect he has as i will only feel so pity towards him. their former generations have the same defects too.

None that I know of. I don’t think that the risk of birth defects in infants of cousins who marry is any higher than the usual risk. This is why it is perfectly legal to marry your first cousin if you so wish.

There are no guaranteed birth defects, it simply increases the chances the closer the genetic relatedness.
