I am a second (and final) year grad student working towards MA Higher Ed Admin. An internship is required, and most of the students in my program are interning in student affairs.

I am interning in academic affairs and I am having some trouble finding “activities” to go along with my internship.

Examples I have come up with are:

*Read through existing materials about the program

*Relate the nature of the department to Higher Ed theory

*Observe the dept chair re: management

*Observe faculty re: teaching

*Assist in data coll, rsch, analysis

*Program assessment

*Present data info to fac/staff

*Review, update, create prog materials for promo

*Implement orientation for new stu

Any ideas, oh wise ones??
