tch might be teacher’s edition

Teacher’s editions are aimed at teachers and may or may not contain all the material that’s in the original textbook. A teacher’s edition of a new book I just got has only the page numbers of the textbook, and then comments about how and what to teach. Get the 4th edition.

Good luck.

the 4th tch edition is the teacher’s edition. there is extra infor, ways to teach that material, organizational help, answers to questions, etc. if it is for own personal use, the teacher’s edition would be helpfu, if it is to replace a lost text book, DO NOT get the tch edition.

The latter is the teacher’s edition–it has various footnotes that will be useless for you.The only other difference is that you won’t be able to sell it back at the end of the semester. (Well, and the teacher’s edition is usually cheaper.)
