I’m an international student, should I apply as a freshman or a transfer student?

I’m a 24 yrs old scandinavian. After high school I did a 2 yr diploma on accounting. I also worked 2 years so I have the experience too. I’m thinking of applying to an american university.

Should I apply as a freshman or transfer student?

If I apply as a freshman, can I skip a few courses as Í have my diploma and the work experience?

Thanks for reading.

Because you already have transferable credits from another diploma, you will more than likely be considered a transfer student and should apply as such. Contact the school you are hoping to attend and ask which credit evaluation company they prefer you send your transcripts through (my college uses World Education Services, for example).

Regardless, contact the university you want to apply to and ask them about their international admissions policies so that you don’t waste time filling out the wrong forms. Each school has small differences in rules and forms and I’d hate for you to waste time.

You utilized as a flow student. Sorry yet you knew before hand which you does not be waiting to get your transcripts. college can not in straightforward terms settle to your be conscious on what credit you have. All colleges could have documentation. flow into admissions and enable them to be attentive to you won’t have the capacity to get your transcripts and can you enter or reapply as an incoming freshman.
