I’m American, how can I get into an English college?
I’m an American student and I am wondering how to apply/get accepted to an English school. My grades are pretty good (about a 3.9 at one of the best public schools in MA), and I think I could probably get accepted to most schools there (okay, maybe not Oxford or Cambridge, but you get the idea.) However, I need information regarding the application process and which tests to take. I will take the SAT and probably ACT for my American schools, but will I need to take the GSCEs to appy to an English college, cause that would be annoying to study for.

Find out which colleges you’d be interested in,then check out their web sites for info on how to apply.
I’m not 100% sure, but if you’re over 16 and because your normal schooling doesn’t include GCSE’s,then i doubt you’d have to take them. They’d just “convert” your grades into ours.
But yea,as i said, all the college/Uni web sites have a section on how to apply from overseas.
Good luck and if you come to England,i hope you like it :o)

As an American who lives close to the boarder between usa and Mexico, i’ve got been forced to examine Spanish for the previous few years. i’m nevertheless not good at it, however i will carry a faily ok verbal substitute. the respond on your question is that the grammar between Spanish and English is fairly diverse. English has greater in easy with German than with Spanish. Spanish is “un lingua del amor~” and the affection languages all have issues in easy; English is the “business enterprise” language and does not truly have plenty in easy with spanish apart from some determination words. to not point out that English does not have all that “female” and “masculine” conjugation. that’s what many times journeys me up. there is particularly some conjugation in Spanish, greater suitable than in English. As for Northern usa, Canada, Britain, and Australia…. while grow to be the final time they mandatory to appreciate Spanish? they don’t run into cases the place they choose Spanish, so it does not get sophisticated.
