i’m about to get a bachelor’s degree in political science next year, and i deff know i should go to grad…
i know i’m goig to grad school to get a master’s, but i don’t know what i should get it in? can anyone give me some ideas? i like sociology, but what types of jobs can i get with a master’s in sociology besides being a social worker? thanks guys!

im on my way to being a social worker with just a BA in poli sci (job is not my first choice). Going to grad school is the right step because there is nothing out there for us. You really have a lot of choices because of the major. You can go into business, law, international jobs, working within the UN, journalism, campaigns, directly into politics.

Can’t do much with sociology that you are not able to do with a bachelors in poli sci…You could teach it at a community college, but it’s not that great financially….. If you want a usefull ($$$) masters, work for a few years then go for an MBA, or you can always go to law school (great follow up to poli sci). But, if sociology is something you like, go for it and you could end up teaching it to others.
