I would not go greek, as well, your first semester will be pledging (takes up much time), and then you only get to reap the rewards for one (second) semester.

If you are already in clubs/activities, I would say take a leadership role. You can influence its activities with your likes. If not, I would join maybe a club or two, but don’t overextend yourself. Also don’t feel obligated to have a “college experience”.

It isn’t like you need to become active in any activities to have a great year.

Heck, you might want to take the time to explore around you. If you are in NY or Boston, etc, go out and do some activities in the community that interest you. You are not tied to your school.

Think out of the box. Think of what you want to get out of it.

Also having an exceptional time sometime means sacrificing time for something else. I don’t want to tell you not to stay focused and study lots. Still, if a great opportunity comes up to have fun but you are worried you won’t have time for something else, go for it! It is your last year and you deserve some fun before you become a slave to the real world and the responsibilities that come along with it.

just participate and be as active as possible. but dont work yourself to death. this is a year of fun… not boredom
