MCAT before medical schools. You HAVE to take the MCAT to get into med school, as it is a required. Usually you should have taken a majority of your upper level biologies (anatomy, cell bio, biochem, physiology, endocrinology are all must haves), physics, and chemistries (o-chems, general chem). Then there’s the lovely reading comprehension and essay parts. I’d recommend taking it in the spring of your junior year, so that you can take it again in the spring of your senior year if you need to (you apply for med school after your junior year usually). Prepare for an 8 hour ordeal, that’s how long it took our test.

You want the publications except you’re self taught in the ones topics. A prep path may not be ample and you’re going to mainly now not also be capable to preserve up within the prep path because it’s only reviewing matters you will have to already recognise.

It’s taken before medical school. I think you end up taking it late during your junior year or early in your senior year. You’ll want to have taken your physics, introductory chemistry, organic chemistry, and biology courses by then.
