I am preparing to give a speech, and it’s about me how can I capture the attention of my audience??

Make them think you are going to confess something interesting. make them realize it was a challenge to say these things about yourself in front of others. explain the soul searchign you did before writing the speech. movve and use big gestures.

Address all of the things that make us watch the news, sitcoms, etc…sex, drugs, celebrities, over-indulgence. Talk about Brittney Spears and this will cover most of all of this; sex, over-indulgence, drugs, children neglect and the product of being neglected.

I would concentrate on over-indulgence and how it has transformed out society. Cars, homes, overweight issues and how all of these will eventually fall back onto the tax-payer by defaulted loans, increased diabetes and related health issues.
