The first question you have to ask yourself is, what do you want to do with your year off? Do you want to travel? Do volunteer work? Save up money for school? The second question is, why don’t you want to go straight to school? Are you tired? Scared? Unsure of your career path?

Figure both of those out, and you should be able to come up with a plan that’ll get you energized and send you back to school wiser and ready to take on the oppportunities there – assuming you’re not more ready than you think you are right now.

If you have a choice to continue schooling, or take a hiatus,

choose to continue your schooling.

A lot of negative factors come into play when you

take a break:

1> Money ~ you’ll get a start up job, the money is more than

you’ve ever seen before, and you’ll be tempted NOT to go

back to school

2> Relationships ~ always a distraction on any level

3> Laziness ~ your brain just gets used to not being active

anymore

While if you stay in school:

1> Money ~ you can actually CHOOSE a career

2> A Relationship is bound to happen sometime

3> Laziness ~ will always happen, but its easier to STAY

in school instead of trying to get back into the fray

~ whichever you choose, GOOD LUCK Ü

Well you shouldnt really, but if you must take a year off, go to a community college. Because most people do that once they graduate, they take a year off. At first it goes good, but then you get a cc offer, and decide to buy stuff, then it becomes bad that you are working all the time, not saying that you would max out a cc, but still. Its best to go to school right after high school, take the summer off, then go for the fall and spring semesters, and repeat.

You shouldn’t you should go straight in! You really run the risk of not going back. think of all the great benefits of going to college, meeting new friends, working towards a wonderful goal, getting a great job, getting paid higher to suit a good lifestyle. Take my advice, even if you have to go to jr. college and transfer. Go….GO!!!

they wont let you in, colleges would rather have someone immature in them than a leader.
