Unfortunately I have other expenses though such as art supplies. Four of my classes also have lab fees (at $60 each… that’s an extra $240 this semester!) I also have accumulated several thousand dollar’s worth of photography equipment, software, and computers/equipment that I won’t necessarily need until after I graduate but I have it now so I that can learn with my own equipment instead of borrowing the school’s.

College is freakin’ expensive.

Sucks to hear about your college publishing their own books. I knew somebody at UT whose professors always required their own add-on “books” for class (on top of the regular textbook), which were like 90 page manuscripts that cost around $50 each.

That’s about average for me. The books are for very in-depth biology classes, so they are huge and expensive.

I’ve had on the low end of 400 dollars for books, and on the high end of 650 for books, because of lab fee and lab books.
