I like to put all my notes in a pile and just glance over them while replaying the lecture in my mind. I then like to go through each chapter again, skim and write notes, but just in short hand that I won’t be reading later. It helps with memory. Reading things outloud helps too. It’s also a good idea to make up possible exam questions then take a break and test yourself. You’ll find that you’re overstudying, but you’ll do better than expected on your exam!

the best way to learn a lot of material before an exam is to make flashcards with different colors (it will help you associate the colors with the terms), word association always works for me, and study with someone else if you can. I have followed these 3 steps since ive been in college and it has never failed me yet.

If there is a bunch of books you haven’t read yet I would just read the intros and conclusions of the chapters you think the professor will test you on. It usually sums up the whole arguement and if you need information for an essay test it works out perfectly.

look through key information that is most likely to be tested and then go over some of the more minute details that may show up, but are less likely.

You can ask one of your close friends to tell you the just of any one topic you the most scared off. Then the others you can read summary’s given at te end of the book.

i continuously make flash enjoying cards or rewrite my notes…i realize it sound like a waste of time yet you wont have self assurance the quantity of advice you will hold…and if all else fails in basic terms reproduction… lol
