I myself work a 40 hour week and go to school full time. What I do is that I divided my school work. I’m currently taking four classes which three of them are online. So, what I do is that I work/study a class per day. Example: on Mondays I only study for my Business Law online class. I do my homework and take the quiz. And I do the same thing for the other classes also what I do during my lunch hour is that I access my online course and work on them so when I get home all I have to do is the reading, homework, quiz. Hope this helps and good luck.

You can definitely do this, I finished the last year of college this way (with a biochemistry degree). The easiest way is to find a job that will let you work full time (or more) on the weekends and Fridays, and part-time during the rest of the week. (Have you considered waiter/waitressing?) Then you have the most important class days somewhat free. You must schedule carefully, I preferred to take all my classes in the afternoon / evening, and work in the mornings. You can also get a more flexible job, as other postings have mentioned, many on-campus jobs are very willing to work around your schedule. The best advice I can give is simple–don’t get behind! You won’t have time to catch up. And try not to skimp too much on sleep, or you won’t easily retain what you learned in class. Finally, don’t expect to have a social life until after you graduate. And good luck!

All it takes is discipline. I work full time, and am taking classes through a university online.

I set aside specific blocks of time, say Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons for studies. On Sunday, I finish up assignments that are due for that week, and on Saturday, I start on next week’s assignments. When I have a free evening during the week, I do any reading or miscellaneous work.

My GPA is 3.65, and I am only 5 classes away from my BS in Busines Forensics, so I know that it can be done!

Find a job that you can do your school work while your are working. A call centre or something like that works really well.

I did this, and my boses actually encouraged me to do school work but when it was busy I had to look after the customers that came in.

I also found that doing distance courses helped a lot. You don’t have to go to class and listen to the lecture, you can listen to it on your own time – which really frees up your schedule. Even if you want to still take on campus courses try taking one or two by distance. (only if you are self disciplined). I hope you find something that works for you,

Finish your homework first. Then, work about 5 to 6 hours a day.

Well first of all, it is very possible…I’ve seen it happen. You have to stay very organized, keep up with your assignments and keep a schedule. You need to probably tell your supervisor about your schedule just in case you need extra time for studying and things like that. I wish you the best….
