STRESSFUL. It is great as well and a place to meet others and gain some insight—but it also lends itself to being around those who think they know it all simply because they are getting “educated”. Depending upon where you go, the experience is different. Also depends upon your age. I went to nursing school at one of the best private universities in the nation when I was in my 30s and had children. It was more stressful for us “older” folks because of the responsibilities we had, and we also didn’t have the chance to “party” or even experience the “activities” that went on because we had to get home and take care of our responsibilities. But I have no regrets myself, and encourage my oldest who is in college to get involved in things that go on. As long as you are responsible, study your best (your true best), and stay true to yourself— its a great part of life.

I’m not right out of highschool so I’m probably not thinking along the same lines as others but being older and going back to school……..what an accomplishment and experience it is and it feels great in that way. If you don’t go to college when your younger, it can still be done at any age for those of you that may be “older” and thinking about it. I’m proof and there are people in their 50’s in my class….wow!
