You need to get the backing of students at your school before you can take your idea to a higher authority. Advertise! Get signatures of students who would be willing to participate. Also, line up a teacher sponsor who will be the liaison with the school. Most schools require this.

Step two: Approach

Take your signatures and, if you can, the teacher who will be sponsoring and approach a school authority. Your high school probably has an administrator who deals with new club propositions. With any luck, you’ll get approved and be ready to roll!
