How do I get into Harvard on a full scholarship without being dirt-poor?

Financial aid covers the difference between what the school costs and what your family can afford, not the difference between what the school costs and what your family is willing to pay. For what it’s worth, I came from a middle class family (both parents were teachers) and my two sisters and I were all in private colleges at the same time, and the financial aid did manage to come to enough money without wiping out my parents completely. There are plans like PLUS loans available for people of any income level.

If life is so fair, then why is my brother a Summa Cvm-Laude Harvard graduate and I’m a full time troll in YA? What can going through a period of being dirt poor teach you about life? Who is really the “self-made man”, the guy born into a poor family who won a scholarship to Harvard University? My cousin passed on a full Harvard scholarship to be with his girlfriend? How can i get into Harvard Univerity without being a straight A student?
Get a job- I worked in college (at an ivy) Poor and middle class kids have to work harder than the Paris Hiltons of the world. That’s the way life is, so stop feeling sorry for yourself, do your homework and when you get to college get a job.
There are no “full scholarships” to Harvard, it’s need based and admissions are need blind at most colleges.
Only the super elitists in this country give special credit for getting into either school.
The education you get depends on the student not the location or the instructors. None of them can open your head and pour the education in.
