Then you also ask about credits or points for entering a good university. Things like sports, music, drama, student government, student clubs, community service, and the like are considered extracurricular activities (this means that they are outside of the usual classes you have to take). Colleges are primarily concerned with how you do in your studies, so your grades and test scores will be the most important factor in determining what kind of a college or university you can attend. But, assuming you have good grades, they also want to know that you have some curiosity and interest in doing things you are not forced to do, and that is why most schools also look at your extracurricular activities to see if you are “well-rounded”. Given similar grades, a person who is involved in extracurricular activities has a better chance at getting into college than someone who has only studied.
