Depends on what field. Quality Control at a manufacturing plant of hard goods often requires an Engineering degree.
Quality control at a chemical manufacturing plant often requires a Doctorate in Chemistry.
Quality Control at a toy plant in China requires you be a kindgergarten drop out. Anyone with brains wouldn’t have let lead paint be used.
