Don’t panic. There are requirements to get in to a University, but if you have been out of High school for 5 years and more, those requirements are waived….you don’t have to worry about them.

Since you are going to community college first, that line does not concern you. Just focus on your classes and transfer out to your University of choice. make sure you make an appointment with college counselor and get the list of courses you need to take to transfer out.

“Requirements will be waived” means that they no longer apply. Instead of the GED or diploma, they will test you for admission. This, at least, had been my experience after returning to college after more than 10 years. Great thing you’re doing – good luck!!

Didn’t you ask this yesterday? Did you change identities again? Look up the definition of “waived.” The usage here means to forgo, set aside. To waive requirements means they will be set aside as in the requirements do not apply.

And what is with all the extra letters in please and such. This makes it sound like you are whining. Are you? Grow up!
