Getting your MBA without an undergraduage major in business….?

I am majoring in psychology and minoring in business because I didn’t know what I wanted to do till it was too late ( I was going to go into teaching, and you needed a double major, hence psychology, which I find interesting)

My question is, I am considering getting my Masters in Business Administration…..I know it will be more difficult without having a degree in business as an undergradaute….but is it still doable and possible to succeed?

Its fine. A lot of schools now have MBA programs from people who majored in sciences and arts. So just make sure your in a program that does not require a business major.

Yes, it is possible. Since you have a minor in business it might not be as difficult as you think. Depending on what schools you apply to though they may be looking for applicants who have experience working in the business field.

Yes. This is actually quite common. You may have to take some ‘catch-up’ courses though, but it shouldn’t hold you back. Believe it or not Writing and Applied Math majors applying to b-school have a greater acceptance rate than Business majors.
