Considering that it was submitted 8 YEARS ago…

Yeah, well I wrote a really REALLY AWESOME college admissions essay for NYU 8 years ago. It was sooo good, the head of the English dept at NYU called me up personally to congratulate me on getting admitted into NYU before I even received my acceptance letter.

She also was trying to talk me into taking one of her classes. Unfortunately I declined my acceptance and went to a local college.

Now my sister in law who’s a senior wants to read it. Also my cousin, who’s a junior wants to read it too.

In a way, with all these two girls talking about college, I want to keep a copy of that essay now.

Any info or advice? I do have the admissions telephone # to NYU… would it be really stupid of me to call and ask “Um can I get a copy of that 8 year old essay?”

Would NYU still have a copy?

Anyone know any one from NYU that can help me? Thanks.
