I want to major in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering, how much scope and opportunity is there with those two majors?what kinds of jobs will be available?also do they lead to good paying jobs?and finally which 1 should i choose?

Engineering is the highest paid preofession with a 4 year degree.

Electrical & Mechanical engineers are two completely different “breeds” of engineers. Mechanical engineers must be able to visualize and sketch a given dilemma, both in motion and at rest. Does that sound like you?

Electrical engineers must have a love for the often abstract world of circuits and the physics of electricity.
