Does anyone who is a pharmacist know?

I am considering a career change. But I have a strong view point about not wanting to have to dispense psychotropic drugs. Is it possible to become a pharmacist and not have to dispense them?

Don’t become a pharmacist. It’s not your business to interfere in the physician’s choice of medicines – unless of course you see a potential incompatibility with other medications the patient is taking.

You have no choice in a dispensing setting such as a hospital or retail. If you don’t want to dispense an entire classification of medication then go into research or possibly sales.

No. Some of the pharmacists in my town refuse to dispense the morning after/abortion pill but that is it.
