Does anyone have information about obtaining a degree in Neurology?

I’m curious about specific colleges, areas of study, etc.. that have to do with neuroscience. Any information would be helpful =)

I am also fascinated with neurology. Mostly, from the injuries that I had, but I think it’s a field that goes well with a lot of branches of psychology.

I think a lot of it deal directly with the study of pharmaceuticals (drugs). I worked in a state mental facility and helped give patients their medication. I became very interested in this branch of neuropsychology – pharmaceuticals.

I took courses in behavioral neuropsychology for my bachelor’s degree. I think most of the work to deal with this area is in the pharmaceutical area, or rehabilitation.

In my rehabilitation, I dealt with several neuropsychologists to regain my cognitive abilities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and a private personal trainer that helped my body relearn function.

Having a basic understanding of the brain helped my recovery very much (once I started to recover from the amnesia). Understanding the facial nerves helped me understand the reasons for secondary effects of the brain injury and related problems. I have recovered very well and now work as a massage therapist and personal trainer to help others recover.
