Yeah, you’re UC Material. Easy. The UCs aren’t that hard to get into. And if you don’t get in to UCLA or UCI, you can always use the UC Merced 2-year-transfer trick.

Do you know what major you are applying for? That might effect your acceptance, though probably not.

You have a shot at all the UC’s including the top 3, Cal, LA, SD. UC Irvine should be no problem, it’s not a very hard school to get in; actually it’s pretty easy to get in. I got an acceptance with a few grants from UCI but I declined. Have you considered UC Davis?

I can see UCI pretty easily.

I don’t see UCLA though. SAT is just a bit too low.

Do you know what your UC GPA is? They mainly just count your 10th and 11th grades and they have restrictions on the number of advanced courses you can use to bump your GPA up.

UCLA – good shot, UCI – definite acceptance. Good luck!

Certainly you’ll get in somewhere even if it just UC Davis. But really, Irvine should be one you get into.
