Do I have to go to a college I apply to the same semester I applied for?
I want to apply to two schools for the spring semester, but I’m not completely sure I want to go, can I put it on hold til fall 2008 or do I have to reapply again?

Some schools allow you to defer your admission until the following semester. Check with the Admissions Office to see what their policy is.

If you have been admitted for Spring, you can usually defer for up to a year without having to reapply.

you need to call or email the exact schools and ask their policy and procedure for this..
Most schools will accept you for the spring if they already accepted you for the fall, but you have to let them know – they need paperwork, at a minimum. the sooner, the better.
