Do any of the UC colleges, such as UC Berkeley have any sort of Early Decision or Early Action program?

I know that some colleges allow seniors to apply early so that they can find out if they got accepted into the college sooner than the regular applicants. From what I understand, early decision gives you notification sometime in January while regular applications tell you if you are accepted sometime in the Spring.

The UC System does not have Early Decision. All freshman applicants apply in the regular application cycle in November.

Nope. All the UC’s get back to you around March and you have to respond generally by May 1 for the following school year.

I benefitted from Early Admission! It was a great thing, definitely look into it for the school you want to attend. It’s been ten years since I went to college, so it might have a different name now, but that’s what it was called back then.
