Community College won’t answer?

I have applied to a local community college who to my surprise have sent me a rejection letter stating that my GPA is too low (my gpa is 1.2) I have tried emailing them about the rejection but my emails have gone unanswered, I tried calling them and after i give my name as they require it they hang up, when I even show up in person they ask for my name and then they call security to have to removed from the building what can I do?

Question: Is 1.2 your high school GPA or a GPA earned at another college?

If that GPA is from high school, then you need to find a program (local or otherwise) where you can take remedial math, English, US government, and biology (the basics) and get your GPA up and reapply.

If you earned the 1.2 through a college experience, then again, you’re just going to have to do correspondence, online, or something to get your GPA up.

I don’t know what IL laws are regarding CC’s obligation to accept you (I googled the college you mentioned), so I dont know if you can sue them, but if they are obligated to take you, I suppose a law suit could be a last resort.

All this, assuming that you didn’t threaten the safety of the staff that would cause security to remove you from the premises. Anyway, if you are serious about this, you’ll find a way to work it out. Good Luck.

Well I would suggest trying anpther local community college or even one a bit further away, or you could always take some extra online classes to boost your gpa then reapply.
