College transcript?
If someone drops out of a college, what is on the transcript? Does it say that the student withdrew, or does it give a grade?

In most cases, the transcript will not list when a student drops out. If you withdrew during a semester, depending on how far along you were, you will receive either a “W” or a grade. Most schools give a grade of “W” through about 3/4 of the semester. After this time an actual grade will be issued.

well, it depends on if you finished the class or not. if you finished the class for the semester, it will have a grade, and the date you withdrew from the university. but if you didn’t finish the course, it will either have a “w” for withdrew or a “wf” for withdrew/failing (if your university does that).

all the classes that you Withdrew get a ‘W’ if you don’t withdraw them offically then you get an ‘I’ or ‘NG’ and then those grades turn to ‘F’ on an offical transcript.
