College stress HELP!!!?

Ok, I have a lot of life stress on top of college stress and I just feel like I am about to break. I just don’t know what to do. I can’t even concentrate on my work anymore. I go to do assignments and I just freeze. I don’t know how to get past it! What can I do?

If nothing has to be turned in or done right away, then take a break. Treat yourself or something.

Look into counseling if these stress and problems are beyond just college work… like personal issues.

Most of my college problems I have had were more related to personal problems than school.

Take one thing at a time. I think that is the best I can do.

Wish I could help you with your math, I don’t like to see people struggling in it… I would imagine it being tough being online.

I use to be in your exact same situation. I felt that life sucks and that everyone is out to get me. I felt hopelessness and sad at the fact that I have not accomplished anything in life.

College stress sucks but a lot of people have or will go through this phase. It is part of growing up and being an adult.

Some suggestions that I recommend are:

1) Take a BREAK. Go to the best place around campus, away from people, preferably near something naturery such as a pond, lake or flowing creek. Enjoy the scenary and take in the fresh air and nature’s ambience

2) Meditate. Close your eyes and picture your life 2,4,8,10 years from now and enjoy the success that you will have by then.

3) Talk to a friend and tell him or her about your feelings. Good friends will listen and will give you constructive feedback.

& finally

4) Exercise. A healthy heart goes a long way to enrich your life mentally, physically and emotionally. Walk with a dog or a friend and chit chat about “stuff” Or do something that I like such as biking, playing tennis or train for a marathon.

You stress over college because you want an education, and their’s nothing wrong with that (God knows how much I stress!), but you just need to get your priorities straight. Remember that if Allah doesn’t want you to do well, you won’t, and if He does then you’ll do excellently, (which I’m sure you will do, Insha’Allah) ๐Ÿ™‚ Just try to get 10 minutes off everyday, as I’m sure you won’t lose anything in such short a space of time, and pray. Don’t compromise your religion for your education. Good Luck! ๐Ÿ™‚

It is hard to give u advice based on what u’ve said so far. I think u probably need some positive distraction? Join college sports/activities/camps or anything u can engage your mind in? College stress is normal. If u are freezing because of the level of dificulty, just ask around for help. Or u could post your questions here. Many ways to work around college stress.

Ha, I was just like that first during my first semester of college. Then I started to hang out, chill, party or just again, hang out with my friends every Saturday. It was such a breather. I wouldn’t suggest drinking but all my friends do it every Saturday as well. It’s the one day of the week where we don’t talk about school etc. So remember, just one day out of the week!

change focus ,take a break , go have sex , hypnosis. every one can fall prey to stress .it is normal but you have to learn how to deaal with it ,go meet some one who can bring your morale up and hype you up for a while , you will be ok

Do relaxing activitys.

Pedicures, yoga, YOGURT, anything like that helps.
