You need firstly to decide how many words the Tutor expects, then divide it according to the following:
A description of the type of person you are writing about – introduce us to them
let us know the qualities you admire in this person that have had an influence on you
then give us a descripton of how this person has changed your life

There is no such thing as a good essay formula. There is an essay formula, but if you follow it to a T, you essay will be (no pun intended) formulaic and probably boring. You need to get a feel for your topic. Try writing it and see how much space you need to explain what you want to explain about the person. That’s the only way to know.
