College educated please, HELP ME!!!!?
Im between just taking paragraphs from the readings and citing them or just throwing whatever the hell makes sense. Or kind of does.
what can I do in this situation, everytime I try to do SOMETHING I stare blankly at the page. I’m pretty sure I will get as far as 3 pages and then try to do the reading for my final draft thats due some time in October ( the 9th actually). This is a writing intensive course and I will have to meet with my teacher for a discussion of the first draft.
Any idea’s on how I can just get this done, it really sux all nighters are a part of college, I dont know if I can physically do this.
thanks.

I assume that you and the rest of your classmates weren’t smacked with a last-minute deadline for a draft. I know none of the universities and colleges I’ve attended pulled something like that.
Come on, how can you procastinate this much? All-nighters are definitely not a part of college life. If people would study efficiently from the beginning and stay on top of their assignments, there would be no need for all-nighters and Mountain Dew at 3 in the morning.
Now, as for your nonexistant paper … Take research online for related material on the reading, take paragraphs from the readings, and start writing from there. I actually never got the point of a so-called “draft”. Try not to quote as much .. paraphrase and cite the work.
Sorry I had to say that bud, I don’t want to sound like an ahole or anything but it’s true.
Anyway I’m sure I’ve had those situations too… just do some reading, look up stuff online to help you understand it and then write it out. Besides if it’s just the first draft then you could totally suck on it- just as long as it makes sense right?
I procrastinated all through college and had a GPA that would knock your socks off. Now get busy Pal – it probably isn’t rocket science, right?
Go online and search for some materials about this reading. Read other people’s opinion about it or something… At least you’ll get a general ideas of what it’s about. If there are some useful information about it that can be used for your draft, use it, but remember to paraphrase. Just in case… y’know… plagiarism…
This is why I normally do…
Good luck!
