College admission Essay rules?
It has to be between 250 and 300 words. I have 312. Is that ok or do I need to cut down? I really don’t see anything that I could get rid of.
do you think only 12 words(like one sentence probably) would matter?

If it was more general like “around 300 words” or “atleast 250 words” it wouldn’t matter but when they say “between 250 and 300” you really should cut down otherwise it will look like you can’t follow instructions. Try and rephrase some sentences to make them shorter.

I think that the evaluation of anything like this, is number one in the fact that you followed directions. Maybe you can proof read it and shorten some sentences, or take 2 sentences and make one compound sentence that will allow you to discard a few words. You only need to get rid of 12, so that should be fairly simple, just time consuming to find the ones you can do with out. Good Luck

I would stick by their guidelines – See if you can’t go back and condense a few sentences.

probably not. and articles and conjunctions dont officially count anyway, but if u used the computer’s word count, it does include those little words.
