Changing Degree Majors AGAIN?

I currently have an associates degree in liberal arts and an associates degree in business administration. I have just switched from a bachelors in accounting degree and started on a bachelors in business management degree but I would like to change my major to a bachelors in business information. Am I the only person that does this??? I do not want a degree that will get me a job I will not like, but maybe I should just settle? I must be on the 20yr plan….

Lol…no trust me YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE that does this. I switched my major about five times in undergrad before settling with an English degree. I am now working on my second master’s degree! So it is very common for a college student to go through a phase of uncertainty in choosing a career. I mean, you are planning the rest of your life! But do know that experience can sometimes outweigh a degree. So regardless of what you major in and whatever you want to do eventually, it is better to get some experience in that field to make sure that is what you want to do.

The two fields that you are having a hard time deciding between closely corresponds, so try majoring in one and minoring in the other. Also, go talk to your campus’ Career Services advisors. They have information on what jobs you can get with specific degrees, and that may help you decide better also. Good luck!

Since all the majors you are “working on” are in business, it does not really make any difference what the degree is. They all lead to a job in business, although the accounting degree at least offered a chance at a real job, whereas the others are about as useful as the “liberal arts” degree. In reality, the major you have doesn’t mean much after you have been in the marketplace for a couple years. The most important thing having a degree shows (especially a business degree) is that you can start a project and complete it. Not sure you are really showing that here.

I think you should stick with the accounting degree. It will get you into more job opportunities than the other two degrees, because you majored in a skill and did most of the course curriculum on a business mgmt and business information major. I wish I did accounting or business information systems so I would have had an easier time getting a career started.

some do not fall for the “exchange” because of the fact it suits the electorate. The NRA is going to spend $40 million this autumn on merchandising in direction of obama. it type of feels they did their homework on his stance in opposition to gun possession and are not happy he has switched over only provided that he stated each and each man or woman has a constitutional maximum suitable to undergo palms. His previous statements approximately helping the DC gun ban and people clinging to their weapons is what they base their opinion of obama on. If the NRA replaced into not against Gore, he might have won instead of Bush, so as that they do have impact. electorate who somewhat learn a candidate are not fooled via obamas persons unique rhetoric.
