Cant decide.. Aviation or Communications major?
Im finishing up my liberal arts associates that i started after highschool because i didnt know what i wanted to do. Now I am thinking of transferring to a 4 year school for my bacholers and i dont know which is a better decision. I know flying is expensive, and the careers may not be all that great.. Im not sure how much money an aviation management degree will help you earn in the future, if i do not become a pilot. I do not want to fly for a commercial airline. So I was thinking Communications… but what kind of money can I make with this? Any insight would be awesome. Thanks.

I was a com major, however I did production side of things…in my field, you start off making very very little, but the longer you are in it, the more you make…one nice thing about a com major is it is useful for almost any job…people like that you studied communications, so they naturally think you are good with people.

If you do not want to be a commercial airliner pilot, you could always fly helicopters. You could fly helicopters for news stations, you could fly choppers for the police, or you could fly them for a private company. There are many job opportunities for fixed wing or chopper pilots that are not commercial.
