Got a lot of really neat, practical, easy to do stuff that really works! Time tested, student-proven stuff that helps.
Maybe it all won’t work for you, but try them, and the ones that do work…use them to the max.
Also, try to figure out how you learn by looking at this website
http://www.ion.illinois.edu/resources/tutorials/id/learningStyles.asp
And then, see if you can become a pro-active learner,. Get more info on this topic at http://faculty.clintoncc.suny.edu/faculty/learningstyles/proactive_style.html
Hope this helps you. Best wishes in your studies.
Get a highligher and make sure you highlight all the key words! Make yourself some flash cards and go over them again and again! When in class, make sure you take notes, create your own outline of what was said! I actually brought a small handheld recorder with me, recorded the entire lecture and played it back later that night just to review!
Sit at a desk, don’t lounge in bed.
Play classical music, it will help you concentrate.
Chew gum, it helps you concentrate too.
Study for an hour at a time, then take a short walk, do some yoga, take a shower… break the tedium.
Good luck!!!
