Can you get reduced tuition at OU if your state does not offer the major you are in?

I heard this from a friend of mine whos dad use to work here. My state doesn’t offer the degree plan and I wish to graduate with a Astrophysics and Astronomy major, but I don’t want to pay the unreasonable price, I have scholarships but its not going to cover the new rates that are 27K a year for out of state residents.

I had a similar problem myself. I was living in AR and wanted a degree in Meteorology. AR did not offer this degree but MSU did. So I found a thing called academic common market. Since AR did not offer this degree they waved my out of state tuition. Which was very nice… So it is possible it’s just finding out the right information. I’m not sure how to go about it, it’s been a while since i’ve covered it.

coaching is the main useful gadget to alter ones life. those infants who got here in would be staying besides, so as that they could desire to be made knowledgeable immigrants and not push them to the returned partitions the place they have not got any probability for progression. in the event that they are given an coaching, then this is going to be solid for united statesa. and all persons. even with the shown fact that, i don’t accept as true with the the decrease off age of sixteen and decrease than 30. they are too previous. youthful is suitable, older is merely giving them a loose journey. i don’t agree. people who got here in whilst they have been sixteen till 30 could have utilized to legally are available like the different immigrants from different international locations. Now, this act is abusing the device and that i strongly oppose it. this is a loose journey all the way and why could or not it fairly is rewarded?

Unfortunately the answer is NO. State supported institutions serve in state residents first. Out of state fees cover costs normally covered by taxes paid by state residents.
