Can someone please help me with this easy homework!?!?

The problem is:

Name the property that justifies this statement.

x(y + z) = xy + xz, so xy + xz = x(y + x)

I wrote the distributive property of multiplication over addition, but my teacher marked it rong and she makes us correct our mistakes.

Ssmeone please help!

Thanks!

First thing I notice and confused at is this statement (so xy + xz = x(y + x))

This should look like xy+xz=x(y+z) not x(y+x).

Or thi first parts wrong which it should read.

xy+x^2= x( y+x).

I think your right writing distirbutive property but you messed up the equation
