Can somebody tell me how good a school is the UNC-Chapel Hill?
aside from the sports team; quality of education, campus life, etc.

That´s where I graduated from. It´s the most beautiful campus I´ve ever seen (and I´ve been to quite a few, including Columbia, NY, and Brown Univ., RI, which is also one of the prettiest).
Chapel Hill is a small university town, but it´s also very cosmopolitan. You can actually meet people from all over the country and the world. It has big shopping malls and a very rich cultural life (theater, movies, etc.). Besides, it is close to Durham (Duke Univ.) and Raleigh (NCSU), the capital city. The 3 cities (about 40 minutes apart from one another), together with the 3 universities, form the so-called “Triangle Research Center”.
UNC is the first state university in the country (1789). It is considered one of the best and one of the top research universities in the country, according to the “US News and World Report´s” survey.
