Can anyone tell me if there is a Physician Assitant to D.O. bridge school in the USA?
I am hoping to find more info out for my hubby who will graduate next May from PA school who now wants to go to Med school or D.O. school. I am hoping that he doesn’t have to do a full four years of school, with what he has already learned!

He has to do the DO/MD school requirements. He can just take the requirements since he has a PA degree.

Bridge school? Wow, probably not.
I applaud the idea of DO rather than MD–I’ve been dissatisfied with the quality of care from about half the MDs I’ve seen, but only one of the many DOs.
But there are precious few DO programs in the nation to start with. Hubby is going to need to get admitted to one of them, and perhaps he can convince them to give him some transfer credit for PA courses. But I wouldn’t count on that from any graduate-level program in any discipline–grad. schools rarely accept transfer credit or offer advanced standing.
