Can an Engineer be a good Treasurer?
Im an engineering student and i havent studied financial accountings before.
I want to join a student society as assitant treasurer.
During the interview how can i convince them?
what should i say if they asy why i need this post?

If you are in Engineering school, you have or will have taken much more advanced Math courses that a finance or accounting major has, and being an assistant treasurer for a student society isn’t that difficult (just keeping track of the budget, and being responsible with the finances).
I would probably focus on you Math and logic background and convince them that you are responsible and ethical.
