They know generally what the ivies are looking for. However, ultimately, it is up to the students. However, at top college prep schools, that stuff is common knowledge.
You’re really not that much better off than going to an elite public school like Stuy or Brooklyn Tech.

Not much.
St. Regis was really famous for getting upwards of 15+ kids into Harvard each year, but this year not a single student got into yale, princeton or harvard from them.
All depends on the student.

not that much, iwent to a public school, but then went to summer school at harvard for 2 years and i got accepted.
