bookbags that won’t too get heavy..?

My Older brother is in college and has got about a thousands books to carry at once. He also just recently had his gall bladder removed and I don’t want him to strain himself. Do any of you know the best bookbag that he could use?

Plus he doesn’t want to look “nerdy” or like a little kid so he doesn’t want a rolly bookbag.

Thanks for your help

Sorry, if he’s got a lot of books, it’s going to be heavy. It doesn’t make sense to say that a different style of bag with the same number of books would weigh less. That’s just stupid.

It’s also stupid to risk your health in order not to look nerdy at a college. Trust me, no one worth their education is going to care what your brother uses at school to carry his books around. It’s not high school and those immature kids that might care are not even worth acknowledgment.

I think a backpack with wheels is the only way he can go especially if you don’t want him to overexert himself. There are a ton of rolly backpacks that are pretty nice (try looking specifically at jansport because they’re such a great brand). If he still feels like he looks nerdy it’ll only be for a little while until he heals so he won’t need it forever. If it’s still not an option either lessen the weight of the backpack or get someone else to carry it for him 🙂

No bookbag will be comfortable if you have many books to carry because that weight is not going to disappear. He should prolly figure out a way to make sure he carries only the books he needs to his classes.

I’ve never had to carry more than two books (like 10 lbs) in college…

Yea, good answers here.

If he is that worried about looking cool then maybe he can show off his scar or something. Otherwise, it is time to man up and do what he has to do (roll them books behind him).
