Becoming an In-State Student….. Penn State University???

I want to go to Penn State’s Harrisburg campus in a year. I currently live in New Jersey, but my grandmother lives in Pennsylvania…. If I changed my address to her’s (by driver’s license), would that be enough to convince the school that I am an in-state student?

Well, no. To qualify as a resident for in-state fees, you actually have to live in the state and/or work there for 1-2 years. If you want in-state tuition, your parents will have to actually be able to do their taxes for Pennsylvania.
